I used to operate my freelance design work under Dead Image Design. A red X inside of a framed box denotes a missing or dead image in internet explorer, and the Dead Image Design name came from a street-art sticker project I did in which I would slap tag (or sometimes wheat paste) a "Red X" sticker over graffiti that had been covered up or painted over. The sticker project died, and eventually the DID brand identity did too (for numerous reasons). Some of this design is fairly old, but you get a good idea of where I was coming from in my earlier days of designing.
