Miscellaneous Branding and Logo Design
A random selection of some of the logo and branding projects I've done in the past.
These are a collection of logos and designs of which don't really warrant their own Behance "projects."
Logo for a Downtown Los Angeles clothing company. The shape of the logo is inspired by the old Rosslyn Hotel roof signage.
Positive and negative logos for DTLA Apparel.
Other DTLA Apparel iterations.
GWJ Monogram.
The Baker's Mark logo - clean and distressed versions. The Baker's Mark is a small bread baking company in Los Angeles. The logos were inspired by the marks bakers have "branded" their bread with since ancient times (using clay, stone, and sometimes wooden stamps). The "X" is meant to recall the slice made on a round of bread to vent it during the baking process.
Proposed logo for La Maquila, an artist collective in Mexico City. The logo recalls the letters G, M, and V (as hi-lighted in the upper left version). It was a collection of artists who lived and worked in an old factory in the Doctores district of Mexico City, one of which was myself (the G). The others included photographer Michelle Westholm and industrial designer/furniture artist Vik Servin.
Positive and negative flask logos of a club for whisky enthusiasts.
A logo for an anual birthday race/scavenger hunt. The birthday in question falls on June 6th, which is Debarkation Day.
BMK Monogram
Proposed logo for Global Health Review. Inspired by clean, Swiss design aesthetics.
GJ Monogram. Inspired by Paul Renner's seminal typeface: Futura.
