Atlas Shrugged Cover Jacket Re-Design

In Publication 1 with Keith Martin, I was challenged to redesign a book cover. I knew immediately that there would be no statue of Atlas holding the world on this cover. Instead, the concept for my re-design was to capture the stoic figure of "Atlas", a metaphor for the main characters in the story, and the discontent of the general public when "Atlas" figuratively stops holding up the world. The mass of people passivley standing around is referencing the indifference of the general public to their imminent demise. This book was truly a great read, and it was even funner to design.
