Cardboard boxes were collected from stores in Paris. Our team of designers transformed them in beautiful cities for a connected window display.
For Christmas 2015, the city of Paris hired le FabShop design studio to create window display on the subject of the COP 21. The project had to show interaction, innovation and sustainaibility. During one month, packaging cardboards were collected from the 10 selected stores and transformed into miniature Haussmann style buildings. The Paris urban Furniture was modeled and scalled for 3D printing.
10 window displays, where created from these elements. To enable interaction with people on the sidewalk, we used LEDs and servo motors connected to a touch sensor attatched directly to the shop window so that when it get touched, the light would change and characters would appear in the windows and on the rooftop. Child and adults where amazed.
