This body of work consist of images that share similar political, conceptual, and visual qualities as Alec Soth’s Sleeping By the Mississippi. Although these photographs were specific to the region, the helplessness, mystery, and ambiance within them allow the audience explore their own experiences in relation to the images they are seeing in front of them.
