In legends of northern tribes the raven steals the light from the old man who created the sun and the moon and brought it to mankind. From then on the mountains and the oceans and all of creation were visible. So this clever and cheeky bird brought us illumination.
These posters are diferent designs for the 20 year anniversary of radio rabe, a non-conformist, community radio-station in Bern, Switzerland. RaBe is short for Radio Bern. The word rabe is also the german word for raven, hence the symbolism of these posters. For the anniversary celebrations 20 designers from Bern were asked to design a poster and this is my effort. The first design is the chosen version, the others are iterations that led to the final form.
