Fox Point Ferry Park

The park is designated as the starting point of the Rhode Island Ferry System. Having  adequate bathymetric depth for large boats, Fox Point Ferry Park connects the discontinuous green belt around the City of Providence.
Landforms are created to provide a visual rythm of concealing and revealing of the destination from the city to the ocean and vice versa, as well as protecting the city from storm surges. The design also provide both fresh-water and salt-water habitats. The large restoration of salt-marsh may allow timid species such has herons to dwell in it. Large gathering spaces are design for people to use in all types of weather conditions.
