This is my finished product for our Perforated Pattern assignment in Lesson 7.  I started out by using a three-point star to make my pattern. Then I made a new document, made a new layer with a black background, then layered the pattern on top of the black background. I then beveled and embossed the pattern to add some depth. I also added the yellow mums texture to the pattern to make the pattern pop more.  Then I added a hexagon, where I put the words "Lesson 7". With the hexagon, I added the tile texture that was saved from the chapter 3 in the book and an orange overlay. I also put a gradient overlay over the text and beveled and embossed the text to stylize it. Then I put a gradient overlay on the pattern to make it look more uniform. Then I made 4 copies of the hexagon to make it feel like tiling with a perforated texture background or flooring.  This is the finished product.
