Digital Calligraphy
Digital Calligraphy is a modular monospaced typeface I designed using a single angle, 45°, provided by the grid below. The typeface has calligraphic letterforms and can be used for both print and digital platforms.
I designed a type specimen with alternate letterforms that opened into a poster.
I also used the typeface in a clock I designed and wrote while learning Processing programming language. At every hour, a visual alarm of falling clocks runs in the background.
Digital calligraphy was a fun fusion of typeface development and usage exploration.
