Many studies suggest that 1 in every 6 children experiences sensory synthoms that could affect aspects in their daily life (Sasson, Ben; et. al. 2009). Therefore having percived no stimulation and sensory input, children with Sensory Disorders are deprived of a normal life, day by day the whole activities should be planned and carefully thought. It is important to understand that everyone is involved on this work, the creation of a toy comes first from inventor’s prior research to turn it into a new contribution to the education of children, where parents and teachers have the responsability to introduce them to this magical world of senses.

Description
CUVI (ABC- ANIMALES) it’s a didactic material for children on kindergarten stage from 3-5 years and for their parents and teachers too. It’s a total of 27 letters (typography) and 27 animals (images)that makes a total of 9 cubes, each one with 3 letters from the abc, 3 illustrations of each animal. Learning the abc will become more fun and easy, plus it helps them to discover animals and their habitats.
A fun and different way to learn. For example they have to see through the hole, identify the image and then they will place the whole picture on their minds. That’s how our brain works, in this way they have already construct a memory and also have learned something.
The creative form of these cubes invites us to be curious, discover and find out what it’s inside and at the same time learn the letters from the abc related to each animal.

Is to understand each of the senses to develop a toy that helps the child in his challenge. CUVI focuses on the senses of vision and touch, the game as an essential part of learning opens the child opportunities to become familiar with daily activities.

The idea of perceiving and assimilate the image by the child, plus Cuvi´s cubic structure gives the possibility to further development in learning by playing games that stimulate the senses. Therefore an infinity of posibilities in games and topics are always possible considering the senses as essential part of teaching and learning helping the child on his daily life.

This prototype was concived in Spanish but could be created in many other languages.
