10 Year Anniversary Design Competition

The Art Institute of California - Inland Empire hosted a T-shirt design competition, celebrating their 10 year anniversary of the campus. I submitted a total of 6 designs to the Dean of Student Affairs. Ultimately, the Dean and the campus committee approved 2 of the designs. The t-shirts are not available for purchase but instead are being used as campus promotional gear. If you visit the Art Institute of California - Inland Empire campus, you will run into both students and staff wearing my designs proudly.
This design was loosely based on a German poster I stumbled upon on Baubauhaus.com. The hard three-dimensional lines not only add depth to the design, but also draw the eye in with a strong contrast to the black t-shirt. This design was the most popular amount the student and staff on campus.
The inspiration for this design derived from the 1970 IBM - Don't Overlook Security poster. Designer Ken White presented an interesting design that draws the viewer in and forces them to read through the letters, like an eye-test.
