I was comissiend to make character design for the 3rd edition of PLAY - International Festival of Cinema for Children and Youth, happening in Cinema São Jorge in Lisbon.
I came up with a group of animals each one with a different name (Fitas, Tobias, Mona). Each wearing some cinema-related element. The characters were incorporated into posters of the festival and merchandising material, incuding a colouring book, pins and temporary tattoos. The principal image is the camera-finger, which became the face image of this year's edition of the festival.
Later I couldn't resist to make them move, they look so happy!
