Co-working office space - The Wave - Hong Kong
Architectural and interior photography for the architect's promotional use and awards submissions.
The Wave provides a platform, for start ups and creative professionals, to build strong networks and collaborate with others under one roof. The co-working space is part of a larger ecosystem comprising food & beverage, co-retail space, workshops and event space all within the same building in Kwun Tong.
The concept of the co-working space is creating a village like environment, with distinct zones such as Greet, Chill, Eat, Work, Meet, Inspire & Punch. The main reception (Greet) is located at the 10/F. Instead of the usual company logo in the entrance, a slogan ‘A SIMPLE HELLO COULD LEAD TO A MILLON THINGS’ sets the tone of this friendly and highly interactive workplace.
The open ceiling with suspended mesh panels alludes to the industrial building’s history. Neutral tones and natural materials are used as the background with colorful furniture injecting energy to the design. Within this vibrant space, the corporate yellow color is subtly infused into the ceiling panels, furniture, accent walls and lights without being obvious.
