This is a viral we did in first year, we were given the challenge of selling Judaism in a series of things that were almost impossible to sell. #6 was the only one that made the portfolio cut, because quite frankly, the rest of them were shit. We thought this one was quite funny. They thought they were being clever by giving two non-Jewish guys with the most Jewish surnames the task of selling Judaism. They still had the last laugh. We felt that the Jewish youth of today don’t really abide by their religion and a lot of them are quite rebellious towards tradition (an insight we gathered from high school). So we made a viral highlighting a few key benefits of conforming to tradition that might be appealing to young Jews. Nailing stereotypes on the head.
We used Barbara as our star in the star long before she was a hit single.
