When designing for Blue Gillespie, Mimi made some great friends and the final logo went on to be part of a massive merchandise collection, plus variations of the design were popping up all over the fans in tattoo form, which was something very special for Mimi. Acceptance of a logo or brand by a fan base in such a way is fantastic to see and is one of her proudest pieces of work to date. The band changed their sound in 2011 and as a result decided to go for a new logo as part of the process though there are no hard feelings and the logo you see above is still much loved.
