Who am I?
I have always been an artist. My earliest memories are of me drawing, people asking for pictures, and judges at competitions rejecting my work because "a 3 year old could not possibly have drawn this!" Apparently I got the gene from my grandfather and father who were also wonderful artists & cartoonists.
I did not study art because a woman was supposed to have a "career" not a "hobby". Fortunately the passion never faded and in 2007 I started illustrating for Hettie Brittz. I have not looked back since! I now do work for 7 publishers as well as the Department of Basic Education.
I try to do everything that is thrown at me and have the ability to work under pressure. I can easily produce a lot of work in a short period of time.
My work ranges from cartoon-style characters to more realistic images.
