Each Commercial Graphics student must complete a project that demonstrates an overall understanding of the graphics industry. Each project encompasses design from conception thru production utilizing skills developed throughout various courses.
My project was for a fictitious landscaping/plant nursery company named Sunflower Farms. The logo was designed in
Illustrator, using green, yellow, and black as the main color theme. Everything was printed on a light brown card stock to
give the overall project a natural, earthy feel.

Business Card
For the business card I wanted to create something different than the ordinary rectangle card. I designed a card that folds up into a seed packet and would contain a sunflower seed. I liked the idea of having something that would capture the attention of the customer as well as leave a lasting impression. This is a card that could be handed out at events such as trade shows.

Coupons
I designed a coupon book of five different seasonal events that are tied together with brown string to go along with the natural theme. Since the name and information appear on each coupon, the booklet also serves as a mini advertisement for the company. These coupon books are something that could be handed out to valued customers.
