This fundraising piece was designed to target Cedarville University perspective donors; it had to follow the university's brand standards and also fulfill the USPS self-mailer requirements. Other teammembers for this project where Taylor Schlabach and Amy (Ruiz-Bueno) Mitello.
Our team adopted a "go big or go home" mentality when it came to the die cut. Out of a self-containing envelope, a hexagon packet expands via a telescoping fold. Every time a new flap is opened, two new pages of content are revealed. Once the entire piece is open, the user is holding a honeycomb-shaped piece–matching the branding of Cedarville’s athletic department. Figuring out the logistics of this piece was not easy, but it was certainly worth the end result!
