This year the concept revolves around the psychology part behind each artist involved based on Carl Jung’s precious theories. We would be honoured to have you contribute with a character based on Jung’s 12 Archetypes concept:
The Creator aka The Artist, The Dreamer.
The creator is driven by their desire to produce exceptional and enduring works, and they are most afraid of mediocrity. At their best they are imaginative, expressive and innovative – at their worst they are self-indulgent, melodramatic and narcissistic.
A character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. Designing a character is creating a new life and crafting a story that brings the character to life. I designed The Creator showing the complex qualities that define a character. The labyrinth is symbolising the ideas being dropped into the labyrinth by the creator that created The Creator. It's a story about dualism reflecting the ideas of the designer into the character that is being created.
