Flat Panel Detector (FPD) is a class of solid-state x-ray digital radiography devices similar in principle to the image sensors used in digital photography and video. Flat Panel Detectors are used in direct digital radiography (DDR) for conversion of X-rays to light (indirect conversion) or charge (direct conversion), which is read out using thin film transistors (TFT array).
Together with the engineering team of NIPK ELECTRON was designed the mobile X-ray Flat Panel Detector for digital radiographic applications which delivers high sensitivity, high resolution, low noise and superior image quality.
Alexander Zhukovsky has been responsible for the appearance of the device and its ergonomics, which is extremely important for everyday use in hospitals.
