Giani’s. A brand synonymous with good quality, huge fan base and an intimidating lineage of producing great ice creams. Giani’s had a humble beginning in mid 1950s with a small shop in Fatehpuri started by Mr. Giani Gurcharan under the name ‘Giani Di Hatti’. By early 60s Giani’s Rabri Faluda caught the imagination of folks across Delhi who lauded its distinctive taste. This essentially marked the beginning of a new era of frozen dessert market in Delhi. By 70s and 80s Giani’s was a celebrated name and hence, came the extension in product offering with new products such as ice-creams included in the menu.
The 90s saw Giani’s add another feather to its cap in the form of its second outlet in Rajouri Garden (new delhi ). The advent of the new millennium saw Giani’s spread its reach to newer markets within Delhi. By 2009 it was already operating through 20 outlets. In the last two years Giani’s has ventured out beyond the bounds of Delhi to serve its admirers in Punjab and Haryana further expanding the number of outlets to 31.The Story depiction.
