This is my abstract representation of planets in the solar system created using water colour paint. Each planet was carefully hand painted, creating a different outcome for each individual piece. The planets, star and comet were all placed into a calendar format and perforated making it easier for people to rip out the posters and hang them up.
Each page has information about that planet of the month. The information orbits around the circle in the middle s you turn the pages. Each poster also has a key at the bottom of the page showing particular information about that planet such a how many moons it has or how long it takes the planet to do a complete spin (making a year).
The calendar page has information on it about the particular planet/star/comet and also has a circle hole cut out which enables you to see the poster behind.
The posters are perforated which makes them easy to rip out and stick on the wall.
Below shows some of the planets. To make 12 months I added in the sun, pluto and Halley's comet.
