ASG's newsletter redesign and complimentary translations for our international audiences. I create the newsletter in English, then redesign for up to 3 different languages (Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Korean), code all versions of the newsletter using Inkbrush, and it gets sent out using our mass mailer program.

What a typical newsletter looks like once it gets translated into Mandarin. The fonts will differ from the original design due to font restrictions but we try to keep the integrity of the design as close to the original as possible.

The challenge with designing for different languages is knowing that a sentence in English will be twice as long in Vietnamese, and half the length in Mandarin and Korean, so it's been interesting learning how to get the same message across without losing the integrity of the design and aesthetic.
