Column
The concept of the Column in the gallery space of Vojvodina Museum of Modern Art (MSUV) in Novi Sad, made for the exhibition Between the Private and the Public, 2015, harbors the idea of deflection from a stabilized system of columns in the exhibition area, considering it inadequate, thus reflecting the social and institutional situation in Serbia at the time. In relation to the moment I lived in, I picked options that are offered to me as opportunities. This is the reason why the column that I made is the same as those that already exist, but clumsily put to distract the order.
I am seeking my own place, but do I want to be a part of this order?
