This recent project was to design a logo for a triathlon competition, organized by Kentuckiana Race Management. This logo is meant to be used for race t-shirts, as well as possible advertisements. I needed to include a lot of information about the race and they asked me to do some simple illustration that could be used in future races. I included the trophy to symbolize the Derby Tournment: it is simple but it has curvy lines to give more expression to the logo. The 3 wings represent the 3 different sports in the triatlhon (swin, bike and run) and also movement.

The colors chosen - blue and orange -represent the brightness and energy of the Derby.
