In late 2015, Universal Magazines contracted me to design a series of digital illustrations to be published in the official NRL Season Planners for the upcoming season. As part of the project, I created 32 double-page design spreads featuring 9 key players from each of the NRL's 16 teams, as well as some promotional art for the product launch. 200 hours (and 144 deep-etched players) later, the final artwork was good to go, with all parties excited by the results.
