The National Aquarium

The National Aquarium draws millions of visitors each year to it’s fascinating exhibits which contain a wide array of wildlife, ranging for the piranha of the Amazon River Basin to the alligator of the Florida Everglades. The goal of this complete relaunch was to put more of a focus on the animals at the zoo & generate more of an awareness for their outreach initiatives. After long conversations with their internal team, we came to the natural conclusion that the theme of the redesign should be to out what the visitors to the museums wanted in the forefront - by bringing the animals to life. This approach allowed a huge focus on letting the beautiful photographs, information, & personal stories of each of the animals be the primary focus for the site - sparking the interests of the visitors that this was only a taste of the things you will be able to see when you visit the aquariums.
