This piece deals with the slightly humorous yet insane idea of creating an offspring with every person you have ever been sexually intimate with. The initial idea for this piece came from a dark place in my life but eventually turned into an idea I would laugh at which compelled me to actually make it. Mounted on chicken wire to add material contrast and represent the stern undertone of this piece, these fifteen plush baby-bundle sculptures represent the potential child I could have conceived with every person I have ever had sexual intercourse with. I made this piece to create a visual representation of the truthful notion that our sexual drive we feel towards people comes from a biological need for reproduction.
