Beer Packaging Innovations

Problem Statement: Packaging innovations to encourage loyal consumers, ages 21-25, to buy more of the brands products.

With this, we were given a list of consumer concerns and problems that they wanted fixed that came from buying in bulk; for example carrying the containers home was uncomfortable as the candles in the box were punched out ovals. With this design, the handle was partially punched out and allowed the cardboard to be folded over creating a more comfortable handle.
Being able to bring partial packs fo parties and gatherings prevented constant trips to the kitchen to grab another beer, a consumer could simply break off one four pack, fill it with ice and bring it to the living room. This design also allows people to bring less beer to a party without looking cheap for bringing half of a box of beer.
Storability in the fridge was an issue, by creating a case that can easily fit in the fridge, consumers do not have to load beer into the fridge one can at a time.
Consumers appreciate any free bonuses they may get with their purchase, such as the twenty-five pack, which is packed with a different brew, a free sample beer.
These changes to the product also allowed us to have products that build together, such as the square bottle caps that can come together to form and art piece.
