These objects are the metal replicas of the world famous snack, Pocky. They are delicious crispy pretzel sticks coated with milk chocolate that originated from Japan in the 60s. The amount of pocky that is being consumed by people all over the globe on a daily basis has made Pocky something more than a great snack. They are cultural monuments packed in signature red boxes.
This project celebrates of the culinary and cultural significance of Pocky. These hand forged, patinated, and then painted pocky now becomes mementos that will never perish in time.
