I've challenged myself to take up to 1 hr each day to create an illustration during the month of March. These may be on paper or on the computer. The goal is frequency and exploration; to get better at using tools and skills I haven't had much cause to use over the last several years doing graphic design. I have also challenged myself to complete all illustrations without referencing any other images. The purpose of this restriction is to see what comes out of my imagination; get a sense of my own artistic voice (as opposed to mimicking or being influenced by the stye of others).
Note: All the photos of the illustrations on paper are quick snapshots I took with my phone. I plan to replace them with higher quality photos.

Day 8: Twisting Vines
This image is unfunished bc I bit off more than I could chew under the challenge restrictions. The concept was just too complex for the 1 hour challenge time limit. Also, I got too wrapped up in the details and lost site of the time. Still happy with the look of the parts I completed. May finish it at a later date.
