This 24 x 36" knowledge map discusses the enclosed group study rooms in Hunt Library at North Carolina State University and compares them to workspaces in corporate settings. Workspaces are categorized as either open or enclosed and either for individual or group work. I included information from my observations, interviews and research. Throughout the map, the green vs. pink colors are used to differentiate group and individual spaces, respectively.

These images show different ways to look at the map to compare multiple panels. By unfolding different sections of the map, the user can compare individual use of the library's study rooms with both individual enclosed workspaces and individual group spaces in corporate settings. Similarly, the user can compare group use of the study rooms with other group spaces.
