PROJECT BRIEF
 
Established in 1941, Doe’s is known for their classic American food, particularly with their award winning steak. They are very much a family centered restaurant and try to stick to tradition as much as possible. There are multiple locations, but I focused my research from the one in the Bentonville, AR since I had better access for research and concept development. Regarding pricing, it is pretty expensive, from $10 all the way to $80 for some high quality steaks. The target audience is rather broad, targeting medium to large groups of middle aged to older people. There are also a lot of older folks who have been eating at Doe’s for many years and think of the restaurant as a lifelong tradition. My approach to this brand identity is to continue the feel of tradition by adding some simplified vintage style with a touch of ruggedness to represent its longevity and quality.
