The Dreyfuss No Fuss Tape Dispenser

For this project, I designed a tape dispenser inspired by the industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss. Dreyfuss's designs focused on streamlined, ergonomical, and curvilinear forms. A lot of his products were made of black plastic and chrome, and were user-centered. I wanted to include these features in the design of my tape dispenser by creating a flowing curvilinear form. I took inspiration from the various things that he designed, such as his 1937 Model 302 Telephone, 1938 20th Century Limited locomotive, 1948 Steam Iron, and the #539 Thermos.
I did several iterations before coming up with the final design.
