Highlights from an on-going series called "Pooka of the Week" for OysterWorld's children's game to indirectly promote the beta stage of the game.
With this series I established a layout and look ealy on then each week I would go into the Unity project for the game and build a Pooka design using the items available in-game to any player. The brief here was to create aspirational Pooka that the players would feel inspired to try making in-game themselves. After this I would spend some time using the in-game tools to set the camera how I want and activate animations til I find one that conveys the Pooka's design well.
