'The Used' Spreads
The following spreads were created as a student piece where we had to create three spreads along with a contents page for a subject of our own choosing. I chose to do the spreads based on one of my favourite bands 'The Used' for a fictitious magazine 'Taste Of Chaos Magazine' which Is based on a concert of the same name. The page design has an ink wash margin allowing for contrasting elements to be used such as the page numbers, while the grunge nature of the brush stroke ink along with the stained paper background reflects the style of the alternate music genre and is reflective of some of the graphic styles from some of the images used.
Contents Page
The contents page features a chapter for each of the six bands that performed on the main stage along with another section for the supporting acoustic stage. The page numbers are displayed as large blocks with pictures of the respective bands inside them with their names overlapping the image.
