Re-brand for the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs, now known as AUB Policy Institute, part of the American University of Beirut campus. The AUB Policy Institute is a research, policy-oriented institute, aiming to harness, develop and initiate policy-relevant research in the Arab region.
The building where the Institution operates is designed by ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS, an imposing modern structure that clashes with the traditional and sober campus.
The logotype is based on the building structure, with slanted angles and italic typeface to convey a boldness forward-leaning mentality.
The whole brand collateral is a reflection of the boldness and high impact of the Institute's work, having a system of shapes based on the building's different angles coming into the field, just as the building imposes itself into the campus.
