For some reason I cant seem to rotate this image. Even when I rotate the origional file.

This is not the exact cut that I recieved, but this was the largest tree section. The lumberjack had already loaded this log on his truck by the time I got there. 

This guy almost didnt fit in my car... Yes, it does STILL smell like cedar 

First round of sanding didnt go so well. The chainsaw marks were DEEP. 

Time for a different course of action. In the end I used an electric hand-held sander, and 60 grit sand paper. This still took a lot of time, but it managed to do the job

Thinking about legs

In a perfect world this is how the rods would have intersected.... the final result isnt quite so nice. I'm sure a drill press would have made all the difference. Well, one that could hold up this tree section
