Kiya is a virtual reality experience that's based on a true life story. You are the viewer experiencing this real life situation of a failed domestic violence rescue. 

 

In this project Emblematic Group used the audio from the 911 call to recreate this using VR technology. My role as a VR technical design was to do some "reskinning" from the first prototype version and add more details and enhancements as well as doing animation, rigging and motion capture clean up for Unity's specifics and in Motionbuilder software. I also did some development work for the HTC Vive version of this project, gaining an acceptance to use the Vive version at Sundance Film Festival's New Frontier Program.
