Carla
Carla Grbac creates woven pieces of clothing, accessories and jewellery. A Friend of Mine created an identity for Carla that took references from the traditional process of her work, wherein rows of thread are weaved around the reeds of a large loom to create the pieces. The result is a bold monochromatic identity that has an op-art quality and weaving diagram sensibility. Textural production techniques were used to further communicate the tactile nature of Carla’s work.
