Still having fun exploring this technique in illustrator. This one slowed down illustrator with feather effects on all the objects. But it seemed to be the preview that was the main issue especially if I was working close up. It was easy just to turn off layers and it sped it up a bit. Still getting used to thinking about light source and shadows and found working in a monotone palette a lot easier. Managed to get a nice leather effect on the pigs skin. Anyway hope you enjoy it.
