"Three Roses" was awarded first place "Tile Heritage Award" at the 2012 National Juried Ceramics Competition in San Angelo, Texas. The juried art show was open to artists in Canada, Mexico, and United States
From 1385 entries, 106 were selected for the show.
The jurors were Mark Del Vecchio and Garth Clark, preeminent ceramic experts. They have authored 50 books, 200 articles, and had galleries in New York and Los Angelos.
