To relaunch Wendy's classic hamburger and brand in a whole new direction, the team at VML and I created an integrated campaign that dives into each component of what makes a Wendy's hamburger different from the competition. Rugby players, cowboys, burger-jenga and barbershop quartets ensued.
The digital content was tightly integrated with the TV work – jumping off from the "Freezy Diskz" infomercial in the "Where's the Beef From?" spot. We dramatized our competition's penchant for frozen beef pucks by creating a fictional company called Othr Guyz, LLC. We even gave them a celebrity spokesperson.
