Boffi's design language can be defined as the "modern cube".
The outer character seem very simple and basic, but a close look at the details, you can easily find valuable experience that are hidden in the design. The details are hidden in the "Edge". The edge detail hides the pocket handle and space, These hidden details that come from the edge really inspired me to design a new smart oven with hidden interactions.

Cutting user depth through Edge details
The arranged details of the edge simplify the process of using an oven. The front edge could be used as a hidden handle, at the same time the user can control the interface of the oven. Through this, the oven hides the front handle and can show smooth display through the front face.
One step closer to open the oven
The motion sensor on the front face interacts when a person lay their hands on the front screen. The door slightly opens without having to pull the handle. Like a furniture, it can naturally melt in to the surroundings until usage.
Delicious Smells come from the oven
When the dish is complete, the oven slightly opens the door spilling the scent of delicious food through the open gap. The user can smell notifications which is a new, intuitivie and warm interaction.
3 degree hidden edge touch
The door hinge is tilt about 3 degrees, helping the door open smoother, at the same time, the door slides slightly to show the hidden interface. The 3 degree hidden edge touch. When the door slides down 3 degrees, the hidden interface are displayed. The outer would have natural looks of a furniture, the user experience becomes more sensitive.
