Type poster
As part of this project, we had to create a poster based on somebody famous. Type and type forms had to be dominant in the design. I decided on one of my favourite comedians - Harry Hill. I felt his distinctive look would transfer well on to an instantly recognisable text based poster.

After searching for some images online, I came across an article in The Guardian by Mark Lawson.

I decided to use the image and text from this interview to create the poster.

You can read the interview here.
Black on pink - This is my favourite design hence why it's at the top!
White on black - Harry Hill: Simple. Elegant. Sophisticated.
Black on white - I liked this design and could see it being used in a newspaper.
I chose a grey collar instead of black otherwise Harry looked a little too 'Saturday Night Fever'.
Yellow on blue - This design uses only two colours. It relies purely on text but I felt that there wasn't enough definition between the collar and background.
The colour scheme was inspired by Harry's cat Stouffer (and Zane).
Black on white - I experimented with the 'Jokerman' font, mainly because of it's name.
