CF Astir is a typeface inspired by the models of greek calligraphy & lettering that were widely used on sign-making and advertising after the war and throughout the fifties, sixties and early seventies.

CF Astir has a significant slant and a quite high thick-thin contrast in a fine resemblance of the old-style expressive craftsmanship.
CF Astir supports Greek, Western European, Turkish and Romanian languages. The typeface is equipped with standard and discretionary ligatures, stylistic alternates, end swashes & contextual alternate designs.
