A self-initiated project, I was looking at creating cool yet pop patterns. With summer around the corner, the visuals that I came up with represented the feeling of the season.It started off with a line drawing in my journal and when I tried to digitally replicate it, I came up with an idea to convert this into something more than mere patterns.Thereby I came up with a colour palette that would compliment the umbrella and stand out when it’s spotted.The graphics resonate the same idea, bold and bright.
What I wanted to do, was to create repetitive patterns that wouldn't get mundane to look at. They were designed keeping in mind, how one can be so playful with an umbrella. Printed on waterproof cotton, they're perfectly compatible for a scorching summer afternoon or a rainy monsoon day.
