In this project I designed and made the frame for a pair of glasses. I designed it to conform to my own taste and tried to make a shape and use a color combination that I have not seen before.
I used two colors of woodvineer which I formed in molds I made myself. I cut and sanded out the shapes and finished it off with a woodstain and red paint on the front and backside of the tront part of the frame.

I used a different order in the colors of the wood veneer for the front part of the glasses and the handles. To make these colors work together I sanded the corners where they would meet at a 45 degree angle. This is a nice detail which you can see in the picture above.
