My friends Maria and Deborah, studying piano pedagogy, had a sophomore piano recital. They wanted a different look and feel than the normal "music" recital posters...you know the ones, a studious musician sitting at a piano or holding his or her instrument. Maria and Deborah wanted something other than the normal "kichy" posters. So, we drove to downtown Dayton, and right at sunset, we started the photoshoot. Photographing in low-light conditions is definitely difficult, and I know I have a long way to go to improve. Despite the struggles with lens blur and crossing busy streets, we had a wonderful time and got some really cool images.
