The Mecropolis Project, which eventually became Worldbuilding For Education, was entitled The Mecropolis Project. For my thesis packet, I created flat illustrations for the cover, table of contents, and chapter breaks. I wanted each illustration to share a story from the Mecropolis, the world I built for the project. Each had to be simple enough to demonstrate to middle school students how to use color and shape to craft a story, but refined enough to work in the context a 60-page thesis paper.
In addition, I've started adding new, more detailed illustrations of different scenes in the Mecropolis universe to better illustrate the world and its scenery. Newer entries are closest to the top.
